It doesn't make much of a difference for me other than not feeling great.

If I'm feeling ok, I'll be there.

I'm not sure if the stronghold directory is completely up and running again, but if you add your strongholds there and add pictures, it will people visualize what RPs can be held at your places. :)

I've contemplated Jedi music, at least a little. I am also of the head canon that Ithorians set the pace for that on the Jedi/Republic side.

Going from that heroic on Tython where you can preserve the history of the darkside ruler, I would say that the arts are a focus of creative dark side users that haven't become obsessed yet. However, it probably still follows the dark side tradition of everything serves me.

I would assume music for the dark side is going to serve one of several purposes:
  • Promote me and how great I am
  • Disparage my enemies
  • Impress someone greater than me
  • Help me woo the target of the moment my affections
  • Soothe my soul as I plot revenge

Wow~!  Day 9 everybody. While there is no way in Korriban I'll be winning Nano this year, I am still doing it. If I write at least one word every day, I'll make my Nano goals and make some progress if not a lot of progress.

If you've not hit your goals or you haven't written for several days, give up! ... Ha ha, attention check. Of course I'm not gonna say give up. Don't give up. Each day is about what you are going to do today not what happened the days or week before.

Just remember, the reason you want to write is that you have something you either want to share or get out of your head. That means it's important for you to do it. Just keep on, little by little if you have to, and eventually, you'll make that goal.

With that said, keep writing everybody! :whee:

Hosted Dancer's Palace is only on the first Friday, but don't forget you can just get together for RP in game. The Slippery Slopes is still a good place for reestablishing RP ties.

Not sure what to write about? Look for random generators to help you along with finding ideas to work on. Plot generators, character generators, name generators, and more!

You don't have to write sequentially during Nano nor do you have to only write on one story. The point is to make sure you do at least some writing every day. So, if you are staring at the deadend of writer's block on your current project, look for new paths to explore.

Day 2! Even if you are not meeting the target word count, don't worry about it. Just keep writing! You got this. :whee:

It's that time of year again everybody. :whee:

Sorry for getting a late start on cheerleading for the year, but this year things are hectic. Nonetheless, it is time to devote a little focus to getting out stories.

Tomorrow is the first day, get out there and show those wordcounts who's boss!

I am relatively hopeful that this may help us bring our RP community together. The only issue I worry about is worsening Schrodinger's galaxy.

Trouble and Feedback / BC.Org Downtime and Security Issue
« on: 10/11/19, 12:42:45 PM » < If you are hesitant to log back into the forum, try using the more secure https version of the url. It still has security issues but your browser shouldn't be concerned about your password being stolen. Please be careful to check the url of links you click though and maybe double check what personal info you may have on this site.

I'm not sure what happened, but I noticed that was down for a long time with a 500 (internal server error). While the site is back up, I've noticed that it's more insecure than it used to be.
